A telecom operator is looking for his Presales Manager
ROLE PURPOSE
The Presales Manager plays a key role in the business development processes and business proposals creation, including the planning of sales strategies, positioning in contrast to competitors, how the business is represented, preparation of presentations about the products or services (with all their values for the usage of the sales department), and development on marketing concepts. The Presales Manager coordinates and organises demand-generating activities such as tradeshows, company events or customer workshops. The Presales Manager encourages and drives engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs for prospective products and services aligned to customer demands.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Thinking and Planning
• Develop the functional strategy as cascaded down from the company strategy and oversee its implementation throughout the organisation and its operations, to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across the operator oragnisation.
Managerial Accountabilities
• Deal with staffing, interviewing, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as ensuring that staff are properly trained and that their developmental needs are identified and suitable remedial training is allocated.
• Align own self and the team to the sales strategy that will support achieving the targets required by the operator.
• Ensure proper execution of the proposed plan across all teams and channels.
• Lead, manage and motivate teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
• Recognise exceptional team or individual performance.
Operational Accountabilities
• Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales requirements including the interpretation of trends for future planning.
• Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, RFP and RFI responses as needed.
• Build cross-functional alliances to provide innovative business solutions and proposals to clients.
• Collaborate with account teams to identify core focus areas and drive proposals in that area.
• Conduct calls and meetings with customers to drive engagement and revenue.
• Contribute towards the design, estimation and pricing of projects/engagements.
• Create and execute a quarterly business plan.
• Create and execute ongoing marketing campaigns and sales.
• Create, develop, and manage a sales pipeline on an ongoing basis.
• Develop and present business solutions, business development processes and business proposals.
• Drive bid management, portfolio management, and the prioritisation of client deliverables.
• Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on competing providers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions by analysing purchase history, renewal reports, data mining, or conversations with the customer.
• Identify new sales opportunities.
• Increase market share and develop and execute aggressive growth strategies.

• Manage resources based on recruitment needs and organizational changes as and when they occur.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
• 6-8 years of Presales/Sales experience, with a focus on telecommunications.
• Proven records on the successful management of sales overall in different ways and channels in telecommunications industries.
Sector of Previous Experience
• Telecommunications, etc.
Language Requirements for Role
• English mandatory, Arabic mandatory.
