Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of strategies and marketing campaigns for allocated Home Entertainment New Release and Catalogue TV titles across both physical and digital platforms.
Focusing on driving contribution for the franchise throughout the lifecycle – from launch and into catalogue.
To evolve TV Home Entertainment knowledge, insight, and methods through sole ownership of projects outside the remit of title management.
To support and collaborate with the Business Controller on priorities/initiatives as agreed to improve TV team effectiveness e.g. championing systems, cost-out initiatives, process improvements, best practice sharing.
Own the Digital Content domain with special emphasis on TV and Video content
Key Accountabilities
• Contribute to the Creation of the TV and video content acquisition strategy together with the Head of TV and Video Entertainment
• Lead the delivery of the content roadmap for TV and Video content by securing key content partnerships with content partners, media houses, VOD partners and OTT providers
• Lead the development and implementation of content marketing strategy for all content and video on TV and VOD and all digital platforms
• Be an innovator within social media, finding new ways to engage and disrupt TV and Video viewers to operator’s portfolio of TV and Content services
• Develop marketing and content / communication strategies to drive loyalty and advocacy both with TV fans and to a mass audience in the digital space
• Work closely with TV and content team at operator group level to align sourcing strategies
• Present marketing strategies and plans to sales and customers on priority content with opportunities to maximize adoption
• Keep up to date with competitive and customer environment – adapting strategies and plans to address issues/opportunities

• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve new release, marketing or overall cross functional ways of working and expertise/knowledge
Developing and managing close working relationships with departments through the content distribution lifecycle to leverage synergies – eg, OTT TV platforms, digital platforms, physical stores, consumer products.
Commercialisation of the Strategy
• Responsible for defining the portfolio of TV and Video Content and working on acquisition, management and operations of content services within the Tv and Entertainment function
• Recommend deal structuring and lead the negotiation with external vendors and content owners on content sourcing deals
• Lead commercialization of OTT content and video services through leveraging of meaningful partnership opportunities
• Responsible for modifying the content portfolio on existing products and services to ensure they remain relevant to customers requirements during its lifetime (Product Lifecycle Management)
• Responsible for creating and managing an annual content roadmap linked to events and customer interests
Project Management & Risk Management
• Identify project obstacles (risks, issues and changes in scope) and support resolution / creation of mitigation plans
• Report on escalations and obstacles to management
• Management report and financial assessments
Coordination, Reporting and Governance
• Reports, Dashboards and status tracking as per required formats
• Develop ad-hoc project assessments and reviews
• Present progress reports to management
Partnerships
Responsible for the partnerships that contribute to each product or service within the portfolio. In particular:
• TV and Video content providers
• Media houses
• OTT providers
Content regulators / media council houses
Cross Functional Working
Creating and managing effective cross functional working between the team and its stakeholders to ensure availability of best in class content with efficiency in costs .
The 4 main KPI’s are as follows, all of which will have yearly targets within the AOP
• Securing the best in class content for operator’s TV and Entertainment portfolio
• Commercial negotiations with partners and media houses on deal structuring and content modelling
• Aligning the delivery, ops management, quality control of content in line with the needs of the business
• Customer satisfaction index achievement of Tv and Video content

Required Experience and Knowledge to be able to do the job
• 8 -10 years overall working experience in a related field – telecoms, content, media, TV
• 5 years’ experience functional and domain expertise with content negotiation and partnerships
• Content and new media experience is advantageous
• Good solid product management experience, adept at managing a P&L and significant budgets, collaborating with sales, developing marketing communications/ATL campaigns, and managing multiple and complex projects
• Proven ability to successfully work with cross functional teams (internal and external) and influence global partners
Commercial acumen and strong analytical skills – ability to synthesise data into key learnings and insights
• Passion and flair for the Film and content
• Passion for film and consumer-driven marketing
