An operator looking for an experienced BI Program Manager to organize and coordinate the BI Transformation program. He will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture and will oversee the progress of different initiative under this program.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. He will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to the operator.

2 Job SCOPE
• Support defining the BI end of state strategy and roadmap for the operator.
• Program Management & Planning – Define program scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
• Identify project stakeholders, project requirements, and overall timelines
• Maintain accurate and timely project financials; manage risks and issues; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. 
• Apply change, risk and resource management.
• Organize and lead program status and working meetings.
• Document the communication plan, change management plan, and escalation plan
• Prepare and distribute progress reports.
• Provide clear communication and timely, effective escalation and resolution of key issues/decisions with the project stakeholders and leadership. 
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI.
• Contribution to the on-going implementation of the Data Management Framework and Drive strategic direction of BI and data governance Program,
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external development partners to create impactful analytics on behalf of the enterprise.
• Coordinate with business users to identify and prioritize the needs and the capability; provide technical subject matter expertise
• Decide on suitable strategy program execution and enable ongoing project governance and decision-making structure.
• Ensure continued stakeholder alignment around project objectives and expectations. 
• Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
• Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors.
• Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
• Works efficiently with managers, development teams, and test teams to produce high quality system documentation and to facilitate delivery of the projects within the specified timeline.
• Lead project meetings, status calls, coordinate project activities and manage stakeholder expectations

The Consultant should be:
♣ 9+ years proven experience managing business intelligence programs the preference in a Telecommunication enterprise environment.
♣ Previous experience in BI Strategy development and implementation.
♣ Strong technical and functional understanding of Business Intelligence, data warehousing, Data Governance, Data Quality and Big Data.
♣ Experience leading development in an Agile environment
♣ Knowledge of project management principles: scope, schedule, quality, expense forecasting and budget management; defining team roles & responsibilities; driving issue resolution and mitigating risk; influencing, negotiation and change agent skills; procurement and vendor management oversight 
♣ Experience with Business Intelligence projects (analytics, reporting, data warehousing, etc.)
♣ Experience in a role managing 3 or more concurrent projects at a time with durations of at least 1 year
♣ Strong background in applications development methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum and other IT industry standards.
♣ Have managed complex, multi-platform BI environments.
♣ Knowledge of Telecommunication and best practices as they relate to BI.
♣ Bachelor degree required.
♣ PMP and Scrum Master Certifications are a plus
