The PMO Director/Manager of ICT is primarily focused in delivering and supporting the high quality solutions and products that the Operator Business BU provides for its customers aligned with the industry best practices.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects; whilst ensuring consistency with company strategy, protocols, commitments and goals.
• Have a clear understanding of the relationship between the operational requirements of the business, the business strategy and customer satisfaction.
• Balance the ICT capability of the business with operational costs and market demand ensuring best value in all expenditure.
• Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business objectives by coordinating prioritizing technology initiatives and the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future technologies.
• Lead planning and implementation of key projects
• Facilitate definition of project scope, goals, deliverables and timeframes
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full scale project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project resources - manage project resource allocation
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders per agreed mechanisms
• Proactively monitor and manage project progress, risks, issues, mitigating actions/solutions and delivery quality
• Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of management team
• Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
• Manage the delivery of Group product roadmap.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance strategies and documents, actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Complete Financial Management of the OPEX and CAPEX.
• Outsourcing of key activities that would be in line with the Business Demands.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• At least 10 to 15 years telecommunications experience (technical/ commercial/ support)
• Experience of management of multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience of scheduling resources and management of budgets
• Formal Project Management Qualification
• Experience in Emerging Markets and difficult countries (some security matters)
• French Language is advantageous
