Attributions and responsibilities:
The “New Digital Business“ Deputy Director has the following attributions and responsibilities:
• To explore, conceive, project, pilot, launch and manage New Digital Businesses Initiatives
• Defend and justify projects by explaining concepts, rational, success stories and business case to its management and its Management committees
• Pilot the operator New Digital Business initiatives.
• Start up new Revenue streams and Grow revenues of mature initiatives Creation of New Digital Businesses
• Hand over to commercial units’ businesses identified as suitable to be launched under the operator’s brand.
• Grow independent businesses identified as not the operator’s brand (Roadmap, operations and communications)
• Collect learnings across all initiatives and share them with the relevant units in order to identify best practices, Dos and do-nots in the different Digital initiatives.
Adviser to internal and/ or external clients
♣ Act as a resource person in his area of specialization
♣ Analyze and solve complex problems within his area of specialization
♣ Advise and guide internal clients
♣ Guide the internal clients in the management of difficult cases and / or litigious ones
♣ Develop and maintain key contacts in his sector (other companies, suppliers, organizations, etc.)
♣ Act as an operational coach with less experienced resources

♣ Keep abreast of best practices within his field (competitive intelligence)
Develop new policies, processes and tools and participate actively in their implementation
Projects
♣ Plan, manage and monitor various projects
♣ Manage effectively used resources: human, material and financial ones
♣ Check progress referring to milestones and set deadlines
♣ Check work quality of others and to ensure consistency in the application of standards of excellence

The expert must
- speak French and English
- have extensive experience in New Business such as digital advertising, digital partnership, e.commerce,... (Business model definition, contract definition, implementation Go to Market)

♣ Deeply knowledgeable in Digital and Telco industry
♣ Understanding and hands-on experience with Internet ecosystem
♣ Experience Interacting with different major Internet business models (Ecommerce, Digital content, Advertising, saas, etc)
♣ Telco Business casing Experience
♣ Management and C-Level interaction experience
♣ Analytics and Data driven
♣ Excel, ppt, Tableau

♣ In développement countries
♣ 10 years and more in the field of Telco (Marketing, Online channels, comms, Partnerships)
♣ OTT experience a plus
