JOB PURPOSE
The role will be responsible to ensure that Data KPIs are met - Revenue, customer numbers, traffic, RPMB, ARPU.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all Data KPIs - Revenue, customer numbers, traffic, RPMB, ARPU
• Conceptualize, Launch and Manage all Data products and products Roadmap
• Manage Data team to ensure delivering on targets/program/initiatives/offers as agreed with Products and
Services Head.
• New Product and Service Development: Responsible for managing the entire process of conceptualization,
through to launch, of new Data solutions and services (The operator-proprietary, or 3rd Party Services).
• Technology Roadmap Definition: Definition of service architecture (bearers, service delivery systems, in
conjunction with Technical
• Project and Program Management: Responsible for Program Management for all Mobile Data projects as
identified and approved in the operator ’s Product and Service Roadmap.
• Financial Viability Analysis: Responsible for preparation of financial business case for all projects, in order to
ascertain the financial viability of all Mobile Data projects, and to ensure that all launched products meet the
operator’s expected margins.
• Product and Service Compliance: To ensure that launched Data services (both The operator-proprietary and 3rd
Party Data services) meet quality assurance standards of the operator, as well as revenue assurance standards.
• Launch of New Products: Responsible for launch of new products

You must have Ouganda or Rwandan nationality (Cf: work permit issue)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree in marketing, communication, engineering and/or business administration.
• Preferably an MBA or Master’s Degree
• Conversational English is desired. Swahili is a plus
• Minimum 2+ years of proven product management experience.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Substantial knowledge of mobile trends & mobile technology.
• A results-oriented individual with a “make it happen” personality.
• A team player, able to work well with peers and influence them.
• Passionate about the possibilities (and challenges) of an increasingly digitally enabled world.
• Ability to engage in effective and persuasive negotiations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective communicator and presenter.
• Able to build relationships and credibility quickly.
• Minimum of 2 years people management experience
