We are looking for a CTIO for our operation in Central Asia. The Mobile market in the country consists of three operators.
This subisidiary is the result of a merging between the third and fourth operator in the Country, the joint venture has been created the 1st of March 2017 and the two operators has been completely merged in terms of Network, IT systems, Organization, Sales Channels in very short time.
The latest step has been the Radio Network Integration, consisting in merging 1707 sites and upgrading about 2000 sites, has been completed the 30th of August 2017. Currently the Operator have a network with about 6500 sites.
The technical organization consists of about 480 people covering the usual HQ functions such as Planning and Engineering of the various network layers and IT systems and a wide regional organization responsible for maintaining the network on the field.
The big challenge of the Technical team is to cope with the huge demand of data traffic, take in account that we have the biggest footprint as far as LTE and LTE A network and carrying about the 70% of the data traffic in the Country, and the increasing demand for a better customer’s experience in all the layer we operate : 2G, 3G and LTE.
In addition to that the Technical team has the challenge to support the business implementing the next generation of Business Support Systems beyond traditional Billing and Charging such as : Customer Base Relationship Management systems, Digitalization, Customer Experience management, etc.
The Chief Technology Information Officer (CTIO) is responsible for overseeing and steering all technical aspects of the Company. He must manage the technology resources to support the Business and to fulfill the task defined in the Company Strategy Plan.
Its responsibilities includes, but not limited to:
• Develop all Technical aspects of the Company to ensure alignment with business goals
• Discover and implement new technologies to have competitive advantages over the competition
• Supervise and budget the Technology infrastructure for a continued profitability improvement process
• Build and revise processes for efficiency improvement
• Monitor and assess the performances of Technology infrastructure to guarantee the best Customer’s experience
• Define and Communicate technology strategy to all stakeholders
• Develop and empower the Technology organization to fulfill the Company Targets
• Lead the team and identify the talents for future development of the technology organization.
